It is my continuous curiosity to understand human experiences and relationships amongst people that led to my decision to pursue a degree in Psychology. Since obtaining my degree it has been my passion and the driver of my career to help others understand and deal with their suffering and to work with them on finding ways to feel better and to develop as a person.
Throughout the years I have worked providing services to Acute and Sub-Acute Units, Day Hospitals and outpatients with adults as well as providing individual and/or group therapy to youngsters and adolescents. These experiences have primarily been provided at the General Hospital of Catalonia, the North London Priory Hospital and the Guy’s and St. Thomas’ Hospital of London and the Llúria Clinic of Barcelona. These diverse and rewarding experiences have allowed me to be practice in and observe the psychotherapy’s world from different professionals and cultural points of view.
The personal and professional experiences I have been a part of, coupled with my educational back ground and training (training of psychoanalytic psychotherapy, master in clinical work and mental health and master in proficiency in psychoanalytic psychotherapy), most notably my masters degree in adult psychopathology, provide me with the ability to create a personalized treatment regime where the patient can understand their difficulties, make sense of them and proactively address them.
